Will you follow
when the way is hard?
Are you mere
sunshine soldier?
Serving only
when it’s easy?
Will you eat My flesh
and drink My blood?

I offer you
My cross.
Will you be
like Paul?
Willing to go
to Jerusalem?
Willing to go
to death in Rome?

Will you follow
fearlessly?
Will you follow
joyfully?
Will you follow
obediently?
Be not afraid.
