I Sustain You

When life
is too hard
to endure.
I come to you
in the desert
to feed you.
As you grumble
alone and lost
listen to Me.

Remember
the Israelites
hungry and tired.
As I fed
them manna
I give you My flesh.
Take My body
within you.
I will give you life.

I give you comfort
in your pain
and affliction.
